A wine-growing tradition has been part of the local culture for centuries. The highlight of the trip is a visit to a local winery “Miloš” (optional). The production of grapes and wine in Ponikva has been a family tradition for many generations. Production is based on the indigenous variety of Plavac Mali. Today, Miloš Winery owns 15 hectares of vineyards on some of the highest quality positions of the Pelješac Peninsula.
